Platform Maker
Ever had a platform game in your head but didn't know how to code it? That's what I want Platform Maker to help with.
Start with a level, grab a tile, and build. Add platforms, coins, spikes, enemies, checkpoints, keys, doors, and a goal. Change the run speed, jump velocity, gravity, and double jumps until it feels right. Hit Play and try it immediately.
Bring your own sprites, music, and sound effects. Give your game its own icon too. If you just want to build without coding, you can do that. If you want to go further, the full editor also has simple event/action rules and optional GDScript extensions.
WHAT'S IN THIS BUILD
• Six starting templates and a three-level sample adventure.
• Drag-and-drop tiles, click-and-drag painting, and keyboard board editing.
• Scrolling levels, one-way platforms, moving platforms, springs, patrol enemies, collectible coins, checkpoints, keys and doors.
• Adjustable movement, air jumps, coin goals and optional time limits.
• Up to 100 levels, undo/redo, project saves, previous-save backups and autosave recovery.
• Custom static or horizontally animated sprites, music, sound effects and executable icons.
• Full desktop editor exports to Windows, Linux, macOS and HTML5 using Godot 4.5.1 plus matching export templates.
• Editable source and a walkthrough video.
TRY THE FREE DEMO
One level, custom imports, visual rules, saving and playtesting. No time limit and no account. Game exporting and custom code are reserved for the full editor. Your demo project can be opened in the full version.
PLEASE READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING
This is the publisher-designated 1.0 release. Automated checks have passed; complete target-device validation is still pending. Mac apps are currently unsigned and not notarized. Windows and Mac builds still need real target-machine testing. Console/mobile support, custom animation graphs, slopes and advanced combat are not included. The cover and header are promotional illustrations; the screenshots and video show the actual app.
The desktop editor runs on its own. To build exported games, install Godot 4.5.1 and matching export templates. Web demos need a WebGL2-capable desktop browser. Creator commercial-rights terms are still a publisher draft and must be finalized before sale.
